Larry V. Bowman, 71, of Cambridge City, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at home. He was born in New Castle, IN on June 11, 1944 to Sherry and Louvia (Bookout) Bowman and lived in this area his entire life.

Larry attended Hagerstown High School and then went on to work as a loader operator for the Wayne County Highway Department for over 41 years before retiring in 2007. He was a free spirit who enjoyed riding his motorcycle.


Larry is survived by his siblings, Janet (Lenvel) Conner of Hagerstown and Bookie (Linda) Bowman of Anderson; 3 nieces, Tammy (Carl) Day, Kimberly (Steven) Kozak and Lisa Bowman; 2 nephews, Christopher Conner and Matt Bowman; 4 great-nieces & nephews, Jacob Robinson, Everleigh Day, Ian Kozak and Iris Kozak.


Friends may gather on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 2 pm until the start of the Memorial Service at 4 pm at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.
