Zachariah Issac Clevenger

Zachariah Clevenger was born in Muncie, Indiana on January 2, 1994 at Ball Memorial Hospital and went home to his Lord Jesus on December 26, 2023 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.

He is survived by his parents, Pamela (Shank) Clevenger & Robin Clevenger; his sister, Dorie (Clevenger) Jones; his brother-in-law, Jericho Jones; his nieces, Zoey & Liliana; many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends & caregivers.

Zach’s favorite teacher was Susan Geesa. He had a great deal to overcome in physical disabilities, but generally had a sunny & sweet disposition. He liked music, movies, exciting sports events, noise, people (especially kids and babies) and his mom singing to him. He was also a big time “Daddy’s Boy”!  In addition to loving his family & friends, he liked to flirt with his nurses! Zach loved camping at Bradford Woods until he outgrew the Riley Children’s Hospital program. His family enjoyed a memorable “Make-a-Wish" trip to Kansas City, Kansas to see three episodes of his favorite show “Wheel of Fortune”.  He was even playfully pecked on the head by the University of Kansas Jayhawk mascot!

Memorial contributions can be made to the “Make-a-Wish” Foundation if you so desire.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until the start of his Funeral service at 1 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, and will be officiated by Zachariah's brother-in-law, Jericho Jones. Interment follow at West River Friends Cemetery in Economy.
