Patti and I were saddened to read Gayle's obituary in yesterday's edition of The Connersville News Examiner.
Before Patti and I left Central Christian Church after I was fired, Gayle and his wife joined Central. Since, along with Gayle, Patti and I are "politically-incorrect, conservative Republicans", we became close and valued friends.
The last time Patti and I had the opportunity to visit with Gayle was several months ago in Lumpy's Cafe in Cambridge City.
After his long, loving and most productive life on this earth, we claim for him, with absolute certainty, our Christian Hope in "The Resurrection of The Dead". Beyond the doors of death, we celebrate The New and Eternal Life Gayle now enjoys with his wife, his relatives and his fellow Christians who passed before him in God's Eternal Kingdom.
