Judy M Mitchell

Judy M. Mitchell, our amazing and iconic mother went to the arms of her soulmate on April 1, 2024.

Judy was an original. She loved like no other and was loved by so many. Judy loved the outdoors. Riding to Whitewater to people watch as she called it. She would sit for hours and watch people fish and she would feed the squirrels. Many remember her as lunch aide at Eastview Elementary. She loved being around her children and their friends. She also worked for many years at Fayette memorial Hospital. Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren, no matter if it was just hanging out, watching TV, going to their softball games, she made sure they knew they were loved! She loved fishing with her husband and made the best dough balls ever.

Judy leaves behind her daughter, Nikki Allen (widowed Matthew Allen); her son, Paul (Lindsey) Mitchell; eight grandchildren, Alexia, Jaylee, Samantha, Madison, Lilly, David, Drelen and Kian.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Paul E. Mitchell, who passed away on March 10, 2012.

Friends may call from 11 AM until the start of her funeral service at 1 PM on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel, 1010 E. Main St., Cambridge City, IN 47327. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
