Willa Mae Barnhizer, 81, of Milton, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. She was born on March 4, 1935 in Jennings County, Indiana, to Robert Ferrenburg and Arett Brooks Ferrenburg.
Willa Mae was a 1953 graduate of Alquina High School. She was a homemaker, a Christian and a member of the Order of Eastern Star..
Survivors include her two daughters, Karla (Charlie) Suttles and Karen (Gary) Longnecker; three grandchildren, Tara (A.J.) Weilenman, Justin (Star) Brenner and Daniel (girlfriend Jennifer) Suttles; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Donna Wishmeyer; nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Karl E. Barnhizer, who passed away on November 3, 2012.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the start of funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Waskom Capitol Hill chapel in Cambridge City. Burial will follow at Zions Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 91st St. Ste. 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830.
