Wanda Mae (Wilson) Boyd

Wanda M. Boyd, 84, of Cambridge City, passed away on Friday July 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Milton on January 26, 1938 to Hugh and Ruth (Waugh) Wilson and lived her whole life in this area.

Wanda graduated from Lincoln High School in1956 and then worked 55 years as a billing clerk at MEG. She was a member of Cambridge City Christian Church and The Easter Star. She enjoyed traveling to the Park County Covered Bridge and Gatlinburg, TN. She loved shopping, her dogs, Ginger and Jack and collecting Boyd’s Bears.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Muse; son, Jim (Karen) Boyd; grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Boyd, Brittany Huffman, Holly (Mike McGregor) Muse, Shannon (Robert) Brooks and Nicholas (Justine Paschal) Muse; great-grandchildren, Devin, Austin, Kaiden, Cohen, Koralynn, Saylor, Olivia and Ava; sisters, Joyce Hinsky and Beverly (Leland) Nicholson; brother, Keith Wilson; nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James R. “Booz” Boyd, who passed away on November 28, 2006 and her parents.

Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday and from 10 am until the start of her funeral at 11 am on Thursday at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Pastor Brian Mackie will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
