Twyla R (Lewis) Cornett

Twyla R. Cornett, 35, of Cambridge City passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Reid Hospital. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on June 5, 1982 to Timothy R. and Lori A. (McGuire) Lewis. Twyla lived most of her life in Ohio and moved to Cambridge City in 2013.

Twyla is survived by her three children Makyla, Acacia and Isaiah; her mother, Lori (fiance’ Phillip Shank) Byrd; her father, Timothy r. Lewis; 2 brothers, Kyle (Allison) Lewis and Cody (Amber) Byrd; her maternal grandparents, LaVon & Donna McGuire; her paternal grandmother, Wilma Lewis; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Willie Lewis; an uncle, Mark Lewis and a cousin, Richard Dennis

Twyla was a very loving and funny person, who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be missed.

Friends may call on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 12 noon until the start of her service at 1 pm at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Pastor Steve Cox will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
