Terry R. Slonaker, 75, of Cambridge City, passed away on Saturday January 11,2025 in Cincinnati.
He was born on January 1, 1950 in Richmond to Ora R. and Virginia (Wilson) Slonaker and lived in this area his entire life. Terry attended Milton Christian Church as a child, went Milton School and was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School. He worked several jobs in town before starting his career at Richmond State Hospital where he worked over thirty years before retiring. Terry enjoyed farming, 4-H and raising horses. He had a zest for life, enjoying making people laugh wherever he went, like going to Horse races or the casino. He most enjoyed attending his kids and grand kids activities, sports, dance recitals, whatever they did he was sure to be there cheering them on!
Terry is survived by his son, Bradly Ray Slonaker; daughter, Leah Marie Marcum; grandchildren, Braden Slonaker, Paige Slonaker and Brendon Marcum; and great grandchildren, Kimber and Reagan Klein. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great granddaughter, Kinsley Miller.
Friends may call from 4 PM until the start of the funeral service at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. The burial will be private on Thursday morning at Zions Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing.
