Stephanie L. (Watz) Abel

Stephanie L. Abel, 39, of Connersville passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Richmond after an extended illness.

She was born on May 21, 1977 to Steve and Lynette (Poe) Waltz in Indianapolis and had lived most of her life in the Wayne Couny area. She was baptized at 8 years of age at Calvary Baptist Church and was a 1995 graduate of Lincoln High School.

Besides her parents survivors include her 4 children, Alex and Seth Newhouse and Hailee and Hannah Groce; siblings Kim (Dean) Bryant and Brandon (Crystal) Waltz; her maternal grandmother Betty Poe; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son Reece A Abel.

Friends may gather on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City from 5:00 pm until start of services at 7:00 pm with Pastor Marty Holman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City on Tuesday, May, 2, 2017 at 9:30 am.
