Rodney "Chops" Purvis

Rodney “Chops” Purvis, 66, of Dublin passed away on Monday July 15, 2019 at Reid Health after a long illness. He was born in Greenfield, Indiana on January 6, 1953 to Junior Thomas and Beverly (Christ) Purvis. He lived most of his life in the New Castle/Cambridge City area. Chops was the owner/operator of Automotive Specialist in Cambridge City for over 30 years. He was a meticulous engine re builder and even built his own custom wrecker. Chops had many friends. According to his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
