Rick Reisert Obituary

Rick Alan Reisert, 57, of Canton, Georgia, formerly of Cambridge City, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. He was born on April 7, 1958 in New Castle to Charles and Nadine (Tague) Reisert.

 

Rick was an Eagle Scout, graduated from Lincoln H.S. in 1976, then graduated from Ball State, and taught high school in Hagerstown for four years. He was Sr. Chemical Sales Manager for Dayton Superior and had been in sales for over 30 years. Rick was an avid NASCAR fan, hot air balloon pilot, FFL commish for over 25 years. Loved by all who knew him, liked by all who met him. He loved to travel and had an adventurous heart. He loved good food and always enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

 

In addition to his parents, Rick is survived by his wife and best friend, Diane (Crews) Reisert; beloved pet Cooper; his brother, Randy Reisert and wife Phyllis; nieces and nephew, Cory Runkle (Michael), Kylie Reisert, Mike Roberson; great nieces, Madison & Ryanne Runkle and many other friends and colleagues.

 

Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, January 18, 2016 and funeral services with Todd Barnhizer officiating will be at 10 am on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.  Memorial contributions made be made to the American Cancer Society.
