Raymond K. Schoonover

Raymond K. Schoonover, 72, of Richmond and formerly of Cambridge City, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Reid Hospital. He was born on March 28, 1949 in Brookville, IN to Alvin F. and Lucille (Roark) Schoonover. Ray was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He worked at D & M for over 20 years. Ray loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, playing on the computer and working on engines and tractors.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Arlene F.(Cole) Schoonover; children, Raymond, Jr., Jennifer (Snapper) Burrell, Mary Crabtree, Deborah Floyd and Daniel Floyd; grandchildren, Chyenne Lawrence, Tasha Morgan, Destiny Morgan, William Morgan and Nathan Rhum; siblings, Tommy and Retha; nieces and nephews.

Calling will be from 10:30 until the start of the funeral service at 11 am on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City.
