Ralph Watson

Ralph Watson, 85, of Cambridge City passed away on Saturday January 11, 2025 at Arbor Trace in Richmond. He was born on April 26, 1939 in Madisonville, Tennessee to Lige and Vesta (Isbell) Watson. Ralph moved to this area in 1957 and he met and later married Donna L. Deaton on October 28, 1960. He worked for NATCO for over 20 years and Brower-Gaar Nursery on & off again for most of his life. Ralph was an avid golfer, trade and collected knives and guns. He most loved spending time with his family & friends.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Donna; children, Shane Watson, Robyn (Mike) Yarbrough and Jeannie Watson; grandchildren, Makinsey (Zack) Parker, Hailey (Brandon) Watson and Zachary (Charles) Anderson; great grandchildren, Amara and Bentley; brothers, Rual, Grady, Gary, Boyd & Jim; special brother & sister-in-law, Jim Deaton and Jan Russell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta and brother, Robert.

Friends may call at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City from 10 AM until the start of the funeral at 1 PM on Friday January 17, 2025.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin.
