Rae Anne Spalding, 46, of Oxford, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 1st at her home. She was born June 2, 1976 in Lexington, Kentucky to James Owen Spalding and Connie Tucker Williams.
Rae Anne is survived by her daughters, Miranda Madrid and Willow White; her significant other Chris Lake; Her father and stepmother Jim and Shirley Spalding; her mother and stepfather, Connie and Larry Williams; a beloved brother, James Spalding; a niece, Victoria Spalding; a nephew, Zeke Spalding; many cousins and friends.
Rae Anne attended Lincoln High School and received her GED in 1994. She was a talented seamstress and artist. She really enjoyed music and it was very special to her. Rae Anne loved gardening, travel and visited many parts of the United States. She made friends wherever she went and was a hard worker. Rae Anne could take the challenge to fix anything that presented itself and would persevere until it was complete. Rae struggled and overcame much at the end of her life. She became saved as a citizen of heaven,
Rae was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marge Tucker; her paternal grandparents, James C. and Doris Spalding and her sister-in-law, Amanda Spalding.
Friends may call from 4 pm until the start of the funeral service at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 11 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, IN. Pastor Tim Billups of Grace Church will be officiating.
