Paula Rihm, 53, of Cambridge City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Reid Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 26, 1960 in New Castle to Robert and Flora Mae (Overbay) Centers. Paula attended Lincoln High School and earned her GED in 1981. She went to work for INA/CIGNA, after that she worked for Danner's, Star Bank and Dillard's. Paula was a Christian. She loved her time with her granddaughter, Natalie, gardening and travel.
Paula is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael Rihm, whom she married on September 16, 1978; a son, Chris (Carla Pollock) Rihm; a granddaughter, Natalie Marie Rihm; eight siblings, Gladys (Leslie) Kibbey, Ed (Elaine) Carr, Velvet (Paul) Moffitt, Chuck (Betty) Centers, Paul (Trish) Centers, Bob (Helen Carpenter) Centers, Mike (Tina) Centers, and David Centers; her father-in-law, Bill Rihm; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Dorothea Rihm.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Friday May 30, 2014 at the funeral home, with Fr. John Luerman officiating.
