Paul Douglas Roschi, 66, of New Castle and formerly of Cambridge City. He was born on March 15, 1956 to James M. and Dorothy A. Roschi. Doug graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975 and then enlisted in the United States Navy, he served for 20 years, the last years in California. After retiring he moved back to Indiana.
Survivors are one son, Jonathan Roschi; a step-son, Jeremy Cline; three sisters, Sue Anne (David) Lower, Teresa (Elaine) Flannery and Annette (Dwight) Smith; a brother, James C. (Gayle) Roschi; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Pamela (Mains) Roschi in 2017 and his parents, James and Dorothy Roschi.
Doug had a beautiful voice and sang in high school choir and was most noted for his role in the play, South Pacific in his senior year. He also sang in his church choir and many solos, where he was accompanied by his wife, Pam who was an accomplished pianist.
He collected ceramic light houses and dogs. Doug loved to garden and grow his own vegetables. He will be remembered most for his “corny” jokes and his love of candy and cookies.
Rest in Peace our beloved son, brother, husband and dad.
A private funeral will be held for his family and friends with interment at Valley Grove Cemetery in Milton. Arrangements are entrusted to Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel of Cambridge City.
