Nina Prosser Obituary

Nina B. Prosser, 90, formerly of Dublin passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017, surrounded by her children, at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville.

 

She was born on October 25, 1927 in Connersville to C. Raymond and Olive Eulalia Bailey and had lived most of her life in the Dublin area.

 

Nina was a 1945 graduate of Bentonville High School. She and her husband owned and operated D&N Truckstop in Dublin for over 30 years and she worked for O. B. McCullough & Son for over 30 years. She was a member of Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority, Alpha Epsilon Chapter and the Cambridge City First United Methodist Church.

 

Survivors include: her children Penny (Paul) Pentecost, Raymond (Betsy) Prosser and Robert (Linda) Prosser; 11 grandchildren Jason, Clint, and Troy Prosser; Nick and Pete Judy, Jennifer Minton, Jalana Risch and Chad Pentecost; Eric and Mark Prosser and Jill Wagner; 32 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald O. Prosser; son Jack Prosser; grandson T. J. Hartley; great-great-granddaughter Ansley Grace Barrett; and 3 sisters Harriett Smith, Nellada Fisher and Freda Shafer.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with Rev. Max Milton officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery in Dublin. Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the funeral home.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to Cambridge City First United Methodist Church or Reid Foundation.
