Nicholas J Snowden

Nicholas “Nick” Snowden, 25, of New Castle and formerly of Cambridge City, passed away on Sunday September 5, 2021 at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 17, 1995 in Richmond, Indiana to Ronnie and Linda (Taylor) Snowden.

Nick lived most of his life in and around Cambridge City. He attended Lincoln High School and later graduated from Woodfield High School. Nick was a member of 4-H for 10 years. A heavy equipment mechanic by trade, Nick also helped with his brother’s Hay business. One of his favorite things to do was being in a Jeep in a big mud hole! While he enjoyed hunting and fishing, he loved time with his sons and was a proud father.

He is survived by his sons, Christopher and Wesley Snowden; parents, Linda (Tim) Wynn and Ronnie (fiance’ Dianna Daulton) Snowden; brothers, Tom (Morgan) Snowden, Jerry (fiance’ Ariel Calvert) Snowden and Brad Snowden; maternal grandparents, Bill and Karol Taylor; paternal grandparents, John and Alberta Snowden; nieces, Jessa and Addisyn Snowden; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 pm and the Funeral Service will begin at 6 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with Pastor Gary Snowden will be officiating.

Family and Friends are requested to dress in Nick’s favorite clothes -

JEANS and PLAID SHIRTS.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations toward college funds for his sons or toward the funeral expenses.
