Mickel "Mike" John Wilson

Mickel “Mike” John Wilson, 51, of Shrewsbury, Vermont. A devoted husband and loving father passed away on Monday evening December 2, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Mike was born on August 8, 1973 in Clark County, KY the son of John Mickal and Peggy Ann (Simpson) Wilson. He grew up in Milton, IN graduating from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City and then attended Wyoming Technical School to earn an associates degree in Diesel Mechanics.

Mike married the love of his life, Sarah Wilson (Hendershot) in July of 1996. They have two daughters Gabrielle Wilson and Alexis Wilson.

Mike enjoyed many outdoor activities and loved spending time with his family and dogs.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Sarah Wilson; daughters, Gabrielle Wilson and Alexis Wilson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Peggy Wilson; and a brother, Josh Wilson.

Friends may gather from 3 PM until the start of his memorial service at 4 PM on Saturday January 18, 2025 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, Indiana.
