Mary Joyce (Hovelmeirer) Beeson

Mary Joyce Beeson, 90, of Cambridge City passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville. She was born on July 6, 2018 in Richmond to Arville and Elizabeth Hovelmeirer Harris and had lived most of her life in the Cambridge City area. After high school Mary Joyce graduated from Elkhart Nursing School as an LPN and worked for many years for Dr. Kenyon and Dr. Irvin. After retiring she volunteered at Golay Community Center.

Survivors include a son Mike (Pam) Beeson; 4 grandchildren Heather Perez, Kylie Benson , Wesley (Megan) Thornhill and Bradley Beeson; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother Larry (Sharon) Harris; nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Verlin Beeson.

In accordance to her wishes there will be not public services at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Golay Community Center in Cambridge City.
