Marilyn J (Crawford) Davis

Marilyn J. Davis, 75, of Fort Wayne and formerly of Cambridge City, passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, on Thursday , November 26, 2015. she was born on July 2, 1940 in Connersville to Paul and Dorothy (Sasser) Crawford. Marilyn was a 1958 graduate of Connersville High School, where she met her future husband, Sam Davis. She lived most of her life in this area until relocating in 2009 to Massachusetts and then finally to Fort Wayne in 2013. Marilyn was a member of Cambridge City Christian Church. She loved her family and enjoyed time spent with them and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Sam S. Davis, whom she married on Jan. 10, 1959; a daughter, Tonya (Pablo) Leguina; grand children, Andrew and Alison Leguina; siblings, Ronnie (Carol) Crawford, Diana (Pete) Combes, Paul (Pam) Crawford and Kay Bromley; many nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Tony.

Friends may call from 12 noon until the start of her service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Danny Berry will be officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
