Linda S Edens

Linda Sue Edens, 73, of Cambridge City, Indiana died of lung cancer on September 26, 2023. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1949 to Paul and Elsie Edens. Linda attended Purdue University before beginning a career as a social studies teacher. When school was not in session, she worked in agriculture in Georgia before becoming a truck driver during which time she met her husband, Paul Barajas. The two welcomed one son and several Basset Hounds. She resided for many years in Dickenson, North Dakota before returning to Indiana.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Paul and brother, David. She is survived by her mother, Elsie; son and daughter-in-law David and Siobhan Edens-Barajas; her beloved Bassett Hound, Rambo; and many cousins.

She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony in Cambridge City. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local animal related charity.
