Leatrice Lee (Diesner) Palmer

On June 1, 2024, Heaven welcomed another Angel. Leatrice (Lee) Palmer was born on October 28, 1928 in Waukegan, IL to LeRoy and Lorine Diesner. On May 1, 1948 Lee married Carl Palmer and lived most of their life in Wayne County.

Lee devoted most of her life as a housewife and taking care of her children. She ventured out and got her Real Estate License and also worked at JC Penny for several years in the Cosmetic Department at their Richmond location.

Lee will be missed by her children, Nancy (Chuck) Trent, Lona (David) Newton, Carla Neal, Lisa Carpenter and Jeff (Lillie) Palmer; grandchildren, Joseph & Cejay Palmer, Brian Stewart, Wendi

Hurd, Nick Hartzell, Cody Newton, Tara Dexter, Christopher and Kyle Carpenter, Jeffrey and Carrie Gentry; 14 great grandchildren.

Lee was preceded in death by her husband Carl and daughter, Pam Wiggins.

Private calling will be held on June 4, 2024 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City and a graveside service will follow at Zions Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing, Indiana.
