Karin R. Heflin, 81, of Cambridge City, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville. She was born on February 11, 1942 in New Castle to Franklin and Mary Alice (Moore) Scott. Karin lived her entire life in this area and was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was affiliated with Avon many years and was a District Manager. Karin loved music and played the organ for over 35 years at Bentonville Christian Church. She was a member of Eastern Star and she enjoyed traveling.
Karin is survived by her children, Kimberly (Mike) Owens, Randy (Brenda) Stater, Brenda (Kent) Elam, Tim (Karen) Heflin and Dave (Marilyn) Heflin; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Kathy Dillon and Chris (David) Whitlock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, John D. Heflin on December 4, 2010.
Friends may call from 5 until 7 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 and from 10 AM until the start of her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday December 14, 2023 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Bentonville Christian Church, 1005 National Rd. West, Cambridge City, IN 47327.
