Karen Lee (Knose) Compton

Karen Lee Compton, 55, of Richmond passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her residence.

She was born on May 18, 1962 in New Castle to Kenneth Sr. and Louise Teffeteller Knose and had attended Hagerstown High School. Karen loved every body and was a kind and generous person. Spending time with family and friends brought her much joy.

Survivors include her children Louise (David) Castle, Jeff and Jesse Compton; 7 grandchildren; sisters Suzie Brockman, Becky Jones, Kathy (Tim) Gibbs and Robin Moffitt. nieces and nephews.

Including her parents she was preceded in death by a son Brian Compton; sister Mabel Monaghan; a brother Kenneth Knose, Jr.; and a nephew Michael Jones.

Friends may gather from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel. Graveside services will follow immediately after in Lutherania Cemetery in Richmond.
