Joyce Ann (Glisson) Hunt

Joyce Ann Hunt, 88, of Cambridge City passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Reid Health in Richmond.

She was born on December 3, 1928 in Richmond to Howard and Eva Mullins Glisson and had lived most of her life in the Wayne County area.

Joyce was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed baby sitting and working in home health care.

She also raised her granddaughter Kanasta Gaddis.

Survivors include her children Sandra (Simeon) Haler, Linda (Bob) Smith, Phillip Hunt, Pauletta (Rick) Black, Robert (Mary) Hunt and Carla (Danny) Palmer; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and a sister Pauline Stoehr: nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by son Edward Hunt; 5 grandchildren Kevin, Arnold, Simeon, Christopher and John Henry; 1 great-granddaughter Isabelle; and a brother Richard Glisson.

Friends may gather from 11:00 am until start of services at 12:00 noon at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City on Friday, March 17, 2017 . Pastor Martin Holman will be officiating. Burial will follow in Westside Cemetery in Milton.
