John W. Davis

John W. Davis, 62, of Cambridge City passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born in New Castle, IN on August 14, 1953 to Robert A. and Lucille (Spacy) Davis.

John was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1971 and had served in the U.S. Navy.

He loved his family and enjoyed watching NASCAR, drag racing and all sports.

Survivors include a daughter Dajuana (Michael) O'Neal; 2 grandsons Shawn and Grant O'Neal; 2 greatgrandchildren Tinzleigh and Easton O'Neal; a brother Loran Davis; a sister Rita Beth (Randy) Gwin; a niece Meghan Alexander; an uncle Maurice Ankrom; and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may gather at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 12:00 noon until start of services at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jeff Shafer officiating. Memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
