JoAnn (Hamilton) Blann

JoAnn Blann, 83, formerly of Mt. Auburn, IN passed away on March 25, 2013 at Golden Living-Golden Rule in Richmond.

She was born on June 14, 1929 in Anderson, IN to Guy and Evelyn (Stearns) Hamilton and graduated from Anderson High School in 1948. After graduation she attended Indianapolis Business College then worked for Western Wayne Schools and Wayne Bank and Trust. She was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.

Survivors include a daughter Amy Blann of Liberty; a son Bill Blann of Hagerstown; a granddaughter Kelly Jo Blann Davis; great-granddaughter Riley Davis; a brother David Hamilton of Anderson; a sister Victoria Lebherz of Indianapolis; nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Blann in 1999; daughter Missy Blann; and brothers Richard and Donald Hamilton; and her beloved dog Sadie.

Friends may gather at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel on Thursday March 28, 2013 from 4:00 pm until start of services at 6:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, Zion's Lutheran Church or any animal shelter.
