Harold E. Moistner

Harold E. Moistner, 93, of Cambridge City passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Reid Health in Richmond.

Harold was born on September 18, 1922 in Bentonville, IN to Nola Everett and Bessie V. Shierling and was a graduate of Huntsville High School in 1940.

Before retiring he worked as a machinist for Chore Boy Mfg. In Cambridge City for 48 years. He was a 50 year member of Cambridge Lodge #5 F&AM.

Survivors include a daughter Nola Jeanne (Michael) Geise of Springboro, OH; daughter-in-law Marjorie Moistner of Cambridge City; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Jeanne Alice Cox Moistner; son Ronald E. Moistner; siblings Kenneth O., George, Delbert, Walter, Helen, Cherald, Francis and Annabelle.

Friends may call at the Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. There will be public Masonic services at 7:45 pm. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 23, 2016 with Pastor Mal Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Westside Cemetery in Milton
