Gwendolyn Marie (Ankrom) Scott

Gwendolyn “Marie” Scott, 83, of Cambridge City, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at home. She was born on January 15, 1936 in Delaware County, to Walter and Harriet (Raffensbarger) Ankrom and lived all of her life in this area.

Marie is survived by 5 children, Beckie (Mike Tadaric) Singer, Randy Scott, Carol (Earl Mosier) Holliday, Walter Scott, and Kenny Scott; 6 grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, Jackie, Michelle, Josh and Paula; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 ½ great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister Bonnie Shay and 3 brothers Maurice, John and Steve.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Jack Scott; a grandson Jason Holliday; sister Sandra Dale; 2 brothers Michael Ankrom and Raymond Ankrom.

Friends may call from 11 AM until the start of the funeral at 1 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with Pastor Mal Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Hagerstown.
