Gloria Diehlman

Gloria Diehlman, 77, of Pershing passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville.

She was born on August 8, 1940 in Richmond and raised by her parents, Robert and Sylvia Pace. Gloria was a graduate of Lincoln High School and had worked for Rihm Food, Philco-Ford and D&M. She enjoyed gardening, the beach, bird watching, but her greatest joy was time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include her children; Greg Diehlman, Sherri Hidy, Robin (Stephen) Palmer and Alan (Kathleen) Diehlman; 6 grandchildren Derek, Craig and Kacey Palmer, Kyle and Aaron Hidy, and Holden Diehlman; 4 great-grandchildren Rylan Torres, Rhys Palmer and Michael and Arianna Hidy; a sister Georgette Bartlett; nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Denise M. Diehlman and a brother Gary Jefferies.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City from 6:00 pm until start of services at 7:30 pm.
