Gail Neefe Eshenbaugh

Gail Neefe Eshenbaugh was born on August 31, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA to Thomas W. and Dorothy (Neefe) Eshenbaugh and passed away on the morning of February 8, 2018 at her home in Cambridge City, IN.

A 40 year resident of Cambridge City, Gail worked all her adult life, in various ways, helping animals. Working and volunteering at various humane societies and animal shelters. She also worked for over a decade at Elder Beerman in Richmond, interacting with friends and clients and the public, something she truly enjoyed.

She is survived by her long time partner, Robert Atkinson, Jr.; her daughter, Deborah Grabarkiewicz of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; three sons, Jay Bex of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Charles Bex of Cambridge City and Kris Bex of Cambridge City; and several grandchildren.

Her family will gather to remember her cherished life at a future time. In honor of her love for animals, memorial contributions maybe be to your favorite animal shelter or humane society.
