Donald L. Clay

Donald L. Clay, 79, of Cambridge City, passed away at home on Friday, July 3, 2015. He was born on July 13, 1935 in Greenville, OH to Lawrence and Marie Sparks Clay.

Don was a graduate of Richmond High School and was a lifetime member of the Whitewater Valley Detachment Marine Corp League. He had worked as a glazer for 35 years with Glaziers Union 1165 of Indianapolis. He loved fishing, going to auctions, working around the house and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Diana Mullen Clay; children Nicole (Jay) Swigart and Lauren (Bill) Hammock 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers Richard (Ann) Clay and Robert Clay; a lifelong friend Chuck Vogelgesang; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Shirley Kruckeberg.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until the start of the service at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
