Surrounded by loved ones, Delmar Wayne Clontz, Sr., 77, Connersville, Passed away Thursday December 3, 2020. Better known as "Butch" to friends and family, he was born on April 10, 1943 to Lee and Ora Clontz.
Butch served in the United States Army National Guard, was a reserve sheriff for Fayette county and was also a member of the local dive and recovery team.
Butch enjoyed the company of his friends and family, as well as hunting, fishing and many other outdoor recreational activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Ora Clontz; wife, Joyce clontz; brothers, Irvin and Wilford Clontz; sister, Justine Miller and grandchild, Jamie Clontz.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Clontz; sister, Melba Johnson; four sons, Wendell rogers, Delmar W. Clontz, Jr., John A. (Connie) Clontz and Darrell D. (Dawn) Clontz; one stepson, Earl Harrison; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Private services were held on Saturday, December 5, 202 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
