Debbie J. Black, age 49, of Cambridge City passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born on April 26, 1962 in Richmond, IN to Elmer F. and Donna A Honenberger Pugh. She attended Northeastern School Corporation and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981. She was a member of New Baptist Church of Boston, IN. Debbie loved spending time with her grandchildren especially Sissy, camping and being outside.

Survivors are her husband of 10 years John Black; her mother Donna A. Pugh; children Randall Lambert of Los Angeles, CA, Amber Lambert of Cambridge City, Robbie Lambert of Economy and Ryan Lambert of Cambridge City; 5 grandchildren; brothers Elmer F. Pugh Jr. of Nashville, TN, Clinton J. Pugh of Pershing, IN,; sisters Cheryl L. Mullins of Richmond and a special sister Rosie Shank; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents and an uncle Bob Pugh.

Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
