Charlene M (Cloyd) Ervin

Charlene M. Ervin, 50, of Hagerstown, passed away tragically on Friday January 17, 2025 due to injuries in a traffic accident. She was born on September 19, 1974 in Bradenton, Florida to Jerry Cloyd and Lola Amyx. Charlene was a 1993 graduate of Lincoln High School, she then went to Ball State and then to IU East where she received her Bachelors degree in Business. On July 26, 1997, she married her high school sweetheart, Jason Ervin. Charlene was a manager for Walgreen’s for over fifteen years. She and Jason loved to travel and especially loved cruises. Sitting on her back porch and spending time with Jason and their son Caleb and her extended family was her favorite things to do!

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jason; her son, Caleb (fiance’ Hayden Beaty); her parents, Jerry Cloyd and Lola Amyx; her sister, Crista (Pete) Eicher; her brother, Rodney Cloyd; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy Ray, Sr and Gladys Ervin; and her brother-in-law, Billy Ray Ervin, Jr.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 and from 10 AM until the start of the funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, Indiana. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery in Milton, Indiana.
