Carolyn J (Goar) Wright

Carolyn J. Wright, age 85, of Cambridge City, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital following an emergency surgery.

She was born on June 1, 1939, in Henry County, Indiana, to Olive H. Dilling and Wayne L. Goar. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mark B. Wright. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Aleesa and Greg Drennen; a granddogger, Tasha; her brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Carol Goar; two nieces, Cinda Howell and Cheryl Koury;  and two great nephews, Ryan Howell and Chandler Howell.

Carolyn taught home economics, business ed, and computer classes at Centerville High School from 1969 until she retired in 2002.

Friends may call from 1PM until 3 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024 and from 11 AM until the start of her funeral service at 11:30 AM on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Burial will be at Brick Cemetery, near Hagerstown.
