Carolyn D (Irish) Prosser

Carolyn Prosser, age 83, a long time resident of Pershing passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. She graduated from Linton High School in 1959. She was an accomplished seamstress and was gifted in both crocheting and knitting. She was a devoted dog owner to many over the years, always holding a special place in her heart for Paco and Trixie.

Carolyn was born on April 30, 1941 in Linton, Indiana to Tate and Fern Irish.

She married on November 25, 1960 to Danny Prosser who passed away in 2001. Together, they raised 4 sons, Stephen, Kevin, Mark and Darren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Prosser.

Survivors include: Kevin Prosser, Mark Prosser (Christie), Darren Prosser (Debbie), Shayne Prosser, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 1:30 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 with funeral at 1:30 PM at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with burial immediately following at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, in Pershing, Indiana.
