Carol B. (DeRegnaucourt) Krieg

Carol B. Krieg, 86, of Richmond passed away at Brickyard Healthcare in Richmond on Monday, December 3, 2024. She was born on May 17, 1938 in Connersville, IN to Albert and Frances (Pflum) DeRegnaucourt and lived her entire life in this area. Carol was a member of St. Elizabeth and Holy Family Catholic Churches. She worked a Long's Grocery for many years and also at Earlham College. Carol loved to do jig saw puzzles and adored her dog, Tucker.

She is survived by her children, Linda Hampton, Steve (Bev) Cheek and David (Rita) Cheek; 3 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great great grandson; sisters, Ethel Hadler & Rose Ann (Oren) Samuels; brother, Bob DeRegnaucourt: nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Allen D. Krieg, on June 27, 2014; a daughter, Peggy Swallow; grandson, Joey Cheek; sister, Rita Jolley and son-in-law, Clyde Hampton.

Friends may call from 12 noon until 1 PM on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, and burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery all in Cambridge City, IN.
