Bonnie (Lamb) Jordan

Our precious Mom, Bonnie Jordan, 81, of Cambridge City, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Heritage House of Connersville. She was born on July 19, 1942 in Rushville, Indiana to Rodger and Anna L. (Grist) Lamb. Bonnie grew up in Milton, Indiana was a 1960 graduate of Milton High School. She married her husband Jack D. Jordan on September 2, 1960 and together they traveled the world. Bonnie devoted her life to the Lord and was a member of Centerville Church of the Nazarene, where she loved to cook and prepare meals for church gatherings. Her favorite Bible verse was Phillipians 4:13. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker raising her children and loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy! Because of her beautiful smile and extremely friendly nature, she never met a stranger.

She is survived by her children, David (Lola) Jordan and Kim (Drew) Clauser; 4 grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Hunt, Heidi Sizemore, Ryan (Sandi) Jordan and David (Tina) Parker; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Jeanenne Kimble and Susanne (Shorty) Suttles; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jack Jordan who passed away on August 5, 2018; her sister, Louanna Dishman and brother Carl Lamb.

Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023 and from 10:00 AM until the start of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
