Benson Reid Jones

Benson Reid Jones passed on Tuesday 4/13/21 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN of a short illness. He was a graduate of Purdue University in 1959. He was a former member of Kiwanis of Connersville, Rotary of Hagerstown and a current member of Lions Club of Richmond. He enjoyed being a banker for 55 years and serving the communities of Connersville and Hagerstown and surrounding areas helping people manage their finances, grow their wealth and realize their dreams. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, wood carving, baking, puzzles and most of all family gatherings. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Bettie B Jones of Milton, IN as well as Jerry Jones and wife Gina of Richmond, IN and Heather Hutson and husband Jeff of McCordsville, IN. Reid also has two grandchildren, Cameran Jones and Josh Jones which Reid enjoyed spending time through the years with them at many school functions, sporting event and cookouts. He is also survived by two sisters Joanna Gettinger of Milton, IN and Priscilla Thinnes of Cincinnati, OH as well as many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by brother Gault Jones, his mother Marjorie Jones and father Benson Jones.

Services will be private at the family’s discretion.
