Barbara J. Limburg, 78, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at her home.

She was born on October 2, 1945 in Anderson, Indiana to Woodrow and Thelma (Clift) Hollars.

Barbara’s Greatest Joy in life was being a Mom and caring for others! She worked for Senior Opportunity Service for 23 years as both an executive secretary and a senior home health assistant. She enjoyed time with friends and family, staying at Doc-O-Lakes, and traveling, mainly to Tennessee.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kelly (Billy) Werner, Karen (Don) Heaslip, Randall (Karen) Limburg and James (April) Limburg; grandchildren, Kevin Glunt, Brandon Glunt, Jeffrey Limburg, Alexander Limburg, Alysun Limburg, Sydny Gunder, Drake Gunder, Aaron Limburg, Whitney Greer, Ashley Nicholson and Lindsey Dale; 8 great-grandchildren; special friends, Ruth & Carl Haler and Ramona & Cecil Penland.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Rigney and her second husband, Earl Limburg; and a son, David Rigney.

Barbara’s family and friends will gather to Celebrate her Life at a later date.
