Annabelle Gene Rader-Carpenter, 6, of Cambridge City, received her wings on Wednesday May 13, 2020 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 6, 2013 in Richmond, IN to Sarah Rader and Kenneth Carpenter.
Annabelle was a kindergartner in Mrs. Agee’s class at Western Wayne Elementary School. At the start of the school year she was diagnosed with DIPG and received an enormous amount of support from her classmates and everyone at school as they “Raised up Annabelle”. She loved school, unicorns, butterflies, rainbows, Minecraft, Legos and her puppy, Rudolph.
Annabelle is survived by her parents; a brother Ayden; Granny and Pappaw, Lori & Chris Samms and Powpow, Kenneth Carpenter, many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandma Cheryl Carpenter and grandpa Donald Rader.
The family will hold a private memorial service for Annabelle.
