Ann Taggart, 76, passed away, on Tuesday, December, 23, 2014 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville.
She was born on September 2, 1938 in New Castle to Eugene and Bernice Baynes Diffenderfer. Ann graduated from Lincoln High school in 1956, attended Ball State University and resided in Richmond.
Ann was a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Cambridge City. She had worked for Cigna in Richmond as a clerk for over 30 years before retiring in 2001. She enjoyed animals, big and small, Disney and Coca-Cola and other collectibles..
Survivors include her husband of 48 years Larry E. Taggart; cousin, who was more like a daughter, Allis Slonaker Fox; cousin , Mary Jo Slonaker; and many more cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. Gordon Mehaffey will be officiating. There will be no public visitation.
