Almira Sue (Morse) Moistner

Almira “Mira” Sue (Manlove) Moistner, 64, of Florence, Alabama and formerly of Cambridge City, passed away March 26, 2015. She was born in New Castle on December 8, 1950 to Bartine and Alice (Joyner) Morse. Mira grew up and spent most of her life in Cambridge City, before moving to Florence, AL in 2009. She attended Lincoln High School, worked at MEG for a number of years and was a homemaker. Mira was a member of Milton Christian Church and also American Legion Post #169 and their Woman's Auxiliary.

Mira is survived by two daughters, Tonya (Mike) Sweetwood of Florence, AL and Alicia Bonar of Churubusco, IN; a sister, Penny Puckett of Dublin, IN; six grandchildren, Cameron, Cullen and Carson Sweetwood and Caleb, Carly and Caden Bonar; Nephews; Great nieces and nephews.

Mira was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul Moistner.

Friends may gather to remember Mira from 1 to 2 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. A short memorial service will begin at 1:45 pm. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
