Mr. Allan Dale Farmer, 79, of Pershing, IN, passed away the morning of Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN surrounded by his family.
Allan was born on February, 21, 1942 in Beattyville in Lee County, KY to Willard and Martha Juanita Burke Farmer who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Beattyville High School. He was a dedicated member and former elder of the Cambridge City Church of Christ. He was formerly employed by Proko Industries of Cambridge City, IN for many years. He retired from Thoroseal of Centerville, IN. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, cousin, friend of many and faithful Christian for 57 years..
Survivors are his wife JoAnn Brandenburg Farmer whom he married on December 23, 1961; two sons Richard Allan Farmer of Dallas, TX and Jeffrey Wayne (Christina) of Salem, IN; two sisters Linda Noble of Richmond, KY and Martha Kay (Delbert) Addison of Beattyville, KY; and nieces and nephews.
Friends may gather from 10:00am until start of services at 1:00pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City, IN. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City, IN.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 113 N. Council Street Muncie, IN 47305 or Alzheimers Association.
