Alice Y. Becker, 82, of Cambridge City passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Friends Fellowship Community in Richmond.
She was born on March 18, 1930 to Raymond and Adele Huber Elliott in Richmond, IN and lived most of her life in the Wayne County area.
She was a homemaker who also worked at the family greenhouse and farm. She was a member of Cambridge City Christian Church and Psi Iota Xi. Alice loved to garden and tend to her flowers and animals.
Survivors include her children Kathryn (David) Modeen of Charlotte, NC, Steven (Cathy) Becker of Mooreland, IN and Linda (Jon) Turpin of Cambridge City, IN; grandchildren Sarah Rogoff, Kyle (Emily) Becker, Lara (Jake) Householder, Jaime Becker, J.T. Turpin and Alexis Turpin; great-granddaughter Charlotte Becker; sisters Sylvia Tussey of Liberty, Nancy Kuehn of Beaver Creek, OH, Myrna Elliott of Waynesville, OH and brother Richard Elliott of Waynesville, OH; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fritz Becker and a sister Shirley Duff.
Friends may call at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 10:00 AM until start of services at 11:00 AM. Danny Berry will be officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
