Alberta L (Geis) Hamm

Alberta L. Hamm, 91, formerly of Cambridge City went to Heaven on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Hamilton Trace of Fishers, IN with family by her side.

She was born on July 7, 1923 in Union County to Harry J. and Mary E. (Reisert) Geis. She lived most of her life in Wayne County, IN before movig to an assisted living facility in Fishers, IN.

She was a seamstress at Paul Casket Co. for many years and sewed for her daughters.

Alberta enjoyed her family very much and will be missed by her three daughters and their families. Marcia (Ken) Fleetwood of Fishers, IN, Karen (Rod) Caldwell of Fishers, IN and Donna (John) Darlington of Naples, Florida. Six grandchildren: Teena (Bob) Sand, Ken (Debbie) Fleetwood, Sherry (Jon) Ohl, Krista (Kenny) Keeton, Debbie Williams, and Cindy (Ben) Owens, John Darlington lll and Jason Darlington. 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Marion Leroy Hamm, two siblings, Harry Lewis Geis and Paul Eugene Geis, one grandson-infant Caldwell, one grandaughter Terri Darlington, one great grandson Kyle David Mayer and one grandson (by marriage) David (Dee) Williams.

Friends may gather at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 12:00 noon until start of services at 2:00 PM. Pastor Dale Cunningham will be officiating. Burial will follow in Zions Luthern Cemetery in Pershing, IN.
