Syble O. Conley, 89, of Cambridge City, passed away on Wed. July 4, 2018 at home. She was born on Nov. 16, 1928 in Victoria, Arkansas to Rube K. and Reba B. (Crouch) Qualls.

 

Syble graduated in 1947 from Keiser H.S. and then from Business College in Memphis, TN. After Business College, Syble and her best friend took the train to Indianapolis on New Year’s Eve, 1951. where she worked as an Executive Secretary. On July 14, 1956, she married Benton O. Conley and they moved to Cambridge City where they raised their family.

 

Survivors include 2 daughters, Susan (Scott) Saunders and Lori Lakes; 4 grandchildren, Devin, Brandon, Megan and Dylin; nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel with Pastor Dan Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
