James E. 'Jim' Bogue, 72, of Cambridge City passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at his residence after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 17, 1939 in Everton, IN to Klein and Thelma Stewart Bogue. He served in the National Guard, Connersville Post, and was a welder at many area factories, including Alcoa and NATCO. Since 1987 he was owner and operator of Bogue Enterprises, doing construction and remodeling work until his health forced him to retire in 2004.

In 1977 he married Emma M. Reeves. He enjoyed spending time with his family and numerous pets. He also enjoyed helping others through his work, and building and driving his big red truck.

Survivors include his wife Emma; two children Mary Bogue of Richmond, and James (Jeannie) Bogue II of Cambridge City; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel, Hannah and Sarah Bogue; a sister Linda Wommack of Connersville; four brothers Robert (Judy), of Carson City, NV, Glen (Penny) of Cambridge City, Don (Vicki) of Cambridge City and Keith of Connersville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers; and a brother-in-law Nelson Wommack.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with Father Joe Rautenberg officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM where there will be a Scripture Service at 7:30 PM.
